Sugar Magnolia Cakes is my Gluten-free CFO (cottage food operation) home bakery located in Oakland, California. A Cottage Food Operation “allows individuals to prepare and/or package certain non-potentially hazardous foods in private-home kitchens referred to as “cottage food operations” (CFOs).
I began baking and creating dessert recipes about 8 years ago when I met my now husband, Aaron. I have explored all kinds of dietary restricted baking and offer a wide variety of cake and dessert options to my customers. Everything is gluten-free and I also offer vegan and paleo options. I try to accommodate all kinds of food intolerances, so please call if you have questions.
Orders can be placed from my seasonal menu options, or I can create a custom dessert upon request. Please allow at least 72 hours if placing an order from my menu and allow at least 7 days if you would like something custom created. Orders can only be placed by local Bay Area residents, and are available for delivery ($30 fee) or pick-up from the Oakland-Lake Merritt parking deck located directly underneath HWY 580 between MacArthur Blvd and Lake Park Ave.
